Is it easy to find a job in new jersey?

me and my family want to move far away from florida. due to family weirdos we want to go far away. so we got our eye on the atlantic states. new jersey seems to be the ticket and the craigslist showed over 100 jobs posted just today. i try to look in google for statistics and other stuff to get an idea if it would be a smart move. i know how the economy is we are struggling here we will struggle anywhere. but just wanted to hear what people say and are there labor boards or unions up there?
