Why do the House members want to destabilize the economy by causing uncertainty over the debt ceiling?

They cant allow Obama too further his agenda. And raising the debt ceiling would help his case.That's funny how they never ever grilled Bush anywhere near this intensively.Something is broken and they don't want it fixed.
