How do I kill copepods in freshwater shrimp tank ?

I have a 10 gallon tank I started up for cherry shrimp well ends up I got ghost shrimp and then one was pregnant and ready to lay her eggs so I bought a plants, next day or so probably I see all these little cope pods everywhere I know they aren't harmful but they are in excess and my filter is running they survive out of water.idk wat to do unless i drain tank and give shrimp to someone and start over . also wat about my expensive plant I bought how do I make sure no more are on it so I can salvage it at least. the shrimp are only ghost shrimp so it wouldnt be the end of the world lol plz help
